Rainbow Dots Free is a great way to pass the time

Exercise your reflexes with this simple, but fun, game.

Our favorite game apps tend to be the ones that aren't overly complicated and that rely on simple graphics and actions for gameplay. Rainbow Dots Free is just such a game. It exercises your reflexes to score points.

When first starting Rainbow Dots Free, you're first taken to a screen that lists other game apps available. Just tap the screen to get out of it. On the app's home screen, you have two options: You can either jump right in and play the game, or you can read a quick tutorial on how to play. The point of the game is to swipe the colored dots into matching goals to get points. Touching an elusive gold star garners extra points, while tapping the black dot will end the game. That's it. The game was a little challenging at first because we didn't realize how fast the balls would drop, but soon enough we got the hang of quickly "grabbing" the colored ball with our finger and then dragging it over to the matching goal. Each game lasts 60 seconds, and you have the option of turning off the music and pausing the game if you need a quick break.

That's all there is to Rainbow Dots Free. But don't let the simplicity of it keep you away; we found ourselves entertained for a good while. This is one of those games that are great for passing time while waiting in the doctor's office or the DMV. We recommend it for all users.
