Bobsled Calling failed to impress

Skip this unreliable calling app.

Bobsled Calling - Unlimited Free Calling is one of many "unlimited free calling" apps that have sprung up, and like so many others that we've tested, it failed to work as promised.

Bobsled first requires access to your Contacts, which is typical for this type of social app. You'll have to create an account to sign in, or you can use your Facebook information. We opted to create an account by entering our e-mail address and a password. We were then told that a confirmation e-mail would be sent to the e-mail address we provided, and in that e-mail would be a five-digit access code to submit. However, we never received the e-mail with the access code. We gave it a few hours, but got nothing. We even went through the process of entering our e-mail address and password again and got the same result. We thought about just using our Facebook information to see if that would get us through, but to be honest, given the results thus far, we were reluctant to give it any more information.

At the end of the day, we never got to see what Bobsled Calling had to offer. We recommend looking elsewhere for a way to make free calls.
