Galleried for Mac is a way to look at a number of Web sites on one interface. This is a good way to find and organize your favorite images from many sites into one location, as well as to allow you to zoom in and out of images at will. For the iPhone, iPad and Mac, Galleried for Mac lets you create custom galleries of images (and other content) for rapid reference.
Galleried for Mac installs on the Mac easily. In use, you browse your favorite sites and then use a heart-shaped icon to add that site or image on a site to a gallery within Galleried for Mac. After that, every time you open that gallery in Galleried for Mac the contents are updated to reflect any changes on the site. If you use Dropbox, you can synchronize your galleries across iPhone and iPad, too. Clicking on any single image on a gallery expands it to full size.
Galleried for Mac worked well enough, allowing us to create galleries of favorite images from around the web. We do have to wonder why this is better the copying the images to our local device instead of refreshing the images every time we open them, but IP issues probably make this a legal solution. In truth, while we had no trouble with Galleried for Mac other than some bogus metadata on some images, we wonder if we'd actually use this in the long term. It seems to be an answer to a question we never would have asked.
