Spin that machine in Slots Journey

Fill your time while you commute and win some virtual money by playing a casino game application recommended for casino players only.

Slots Journey is the free iOS app for every casino game player who has some free minutes to fill. Its design and user interface serve one single aim: to bet money and win money back while having fun in a virtual casino, standing in front of a slot machine.

We liked how Slots Journey went beyond a typical virtual casino game and implemented the idea of a journey as a tweak to the slot machine app. The starting point is Egypt, followed by China, "Islands," Greece, Transylvania, Texas, and Australia, and each place has several levels to go through. Just as with a real slot machine, you have a limited number of spins, a number that's adjusted on each level, and as you finish the level, another one opens. The goal of the player is to match country-specific symbols in sets of three or more, either diagonally or straight across.

While for novice users, spinning may appear dull after a number of spins, Slots Journey comes with an additional tweak: after a big win, the player is given the opportunity to double the win, which is tempting, but the risk of losing the coins is always there. The game's nicely designed, uncluttered user interface has all the necessary information displayed all the time, so you will always know how many coins you have, but what we liked while playing the game were some of the little tweaks, such as the fish swimming out from the picture, and the like.

Slots Journey is a potentially entertaining app designed for the iPhone, which can keep you busy for hours if you want; it's a good game with several interesting aspects, if you like playing casino games. However, it can't go beyond slots, and the list of more entertaining apps available out there is very long.
