Gomigo is a software application that works as a desktop assistant, working to help you open and access files, programs, and documents faster and more easily. It can make your day-to-day computer use work more for you.
This program is very simple to use because it is rather simple in design. On the other hand, this makes it more complicated in other ways. There is no Help section and the Tutorial that is available is very brief. For the most part, the inner workings of this application are easy to figure out though. Once it's open, you can access a list of files and programs to quickly start up. This list will disappear after a few seconds of inactivity, but will easily pop up again by clicking on the Gomigo icon. The only feature we were really unsure about was the tab that said Rebuild. After clicking on it nothing seemed to happen so we aren't sure if this is a bug or if we're just not getting what it really does. Right clicking on items in the list gives you editing options and you can add to the list anything that you regularly access. It's not a miracle application but it's useful.
Downloading and installing Gomigo is pretty easy. It doesn't take very long and once it's installed it will work in the background right away, so don't worry if nothing pops up after it says that the installation is complete. You'll know it's there by the icon.
