With such an overwhelming number of products flooding the Google Play Store (aka the Android Market), Appreciate helps you cut through the clutter to find the apps that are tailored to your tastes. It's free, simple, and it works.

Appreciate takes inventory of the apps you have installed on your device, those you've uninstalled, and your usage habits across them all. It even takes into account your demographic and Facebook friends if you make that info available. After plugging the data into its formula, Appreciate serves up a menu of recommended apps for you to download, with new recommendations coming every day. You can even put a widget on your Home screen, so you never miss any.

Overall, the recommendation engine works incredibly well. If you give it enough info, it can get a surprisingly accurate read on your tastes. With that in mind, logging in with your Facebook account helps significantly, as it introduces friends and other important info to the Appreciate algorithm. And what I love is that each recommendation comes with a relevance rating--Strong Match, Good Match, and Take a Chance--which gives you an idea of why you should download it. For instance, some apps are recommended based on your app history, while others are recommended based on a Facebook friend's activity.

In addition to personalized recommendations, Appreciate can show you trending apps for different categories or demographics. By swiping right from the Dashboard, you can see what's hot for Guys, Girls, or Kids, or you can see what's hot on tablets or in games. All of these trends are based on user activity within the Appreciate community.

Finally, Appreciate makes it supersimple to install apps right from it's interface, thanks to its shopping cart feature. Just add any number of recommendations to your cart, then hit Install All.
