Snipe on the city's baddest baddies

Contract Killer puts you in the shoes of a master sniper for hire.

Contract Killer puts you in the shoes of a master sniper for hire. Work your contacts, look for missions, and complete hits in order to gain new weapons, experience points, and money. Become a good enough killer, and you might be able to climb your way to the top of the underworld ladder.

Sniping is simple. Just tap and drag around the scene to find your target. Once you find him, tap the scope button to zoom in, drag around to adjust your crosshairs, and fire away. Aim for the head for an instant kill. But watch out, because crime bosses don't usually travel alone, so you may have to zoom out and recalibrate your crosshairs on some henchmen. You may even have to switch to a handgun for shorter-range targets.

As addictive as it is to snipe away at the city's baddest baddies, a big part of the fun comes by way of earning upgrades. As you earn money and experience points, you slowly unlock new informants, weapons, and missions. When you've saved enough, you can cruise over to what is apparently a hitman convenience store to purchase new rifles, shotguns, handguns, and even body armor. There's also a social element to the game, as you can connect to Facebook for special gifts and unique missions against your friends.

One thing users should be aware of is the app's size. Tipping the scales at around 365MB, Contract Killer is a heavyweight, for sure.

If you've ever wondered what it would be like to be a skilled assassin, or if you're just into sniper rifles and shotguns, this might be the game for you. Overall, we found Contract Killer to be an addicting download that's easy to pick up and play, even in your shorter pockets of free time.
