Once you've signed up for a required Read It Later account, saving articles to your Reading list from your Android device is incredibly simple. Let's say you're doing your daily reading in your default Android browser, and you come across a lengthy article you'd like to continue reading Later. Simply tap Menu, then Share page, then Add to Read It Later. Your list will be updated on your Read It Later account, and in effect, across all of your devices. And exclusively on the Android app, Read It Later will instantly download all of your saved items for access offline. It can download and save either full pages or stripped-down versions, which show only words, images, captions, and videos from an article--your choice. Downloaded content is stored right on your SD card, unless you elect otherwise.

Because Read It Later has an open API, it has become deeply integrated into a host of mobile and desktop applications. For Android users, this means that Read It Later pops up in the Share via menu from most applications on your phone or tablet. For instance, you can save links to Read It Later from your favorite Twitter client, YouTube, or Yelp. And the possibilities are growing. You can also share any item from Read It Later to your device's other applications just the same.

After reading items on your Reading list, they get checked off and moved to your Read Archive. It's a great safeguard for reaccessing read content yet again, in case you missed something.

Read It Later for Android is available in Free or paid Pro versions. The Free version has all of the app's core functionality and is great as is, while the Pro version adds organizational tools like sorting, search, tagging, and more.
