Car care keeper

Keep track of vehicle maintenance and more with this intuitive program.

Like many teenagers, when we first started driving we got a lecture from our father about the importance of vehicle maintenance. We figured that we ought to listen to a guy who's kept most of his vehicles well past the 200,000-mile mark. But it's not always easy to keep up with vehicle maintenance, especially in households with multiple vehicles and drivers. Fortunately for collectors, gearheads, and families with teenagers, there's Vehicle Manager 2010, a simple way to track vehicle and fuel use, maintenance and repairs, automotive expenses, and more.

Vehicle Manager Fleet has a well-designed, intuitive interface, with large graphic buttons that represent its main features. We found it quite easy to add new vehicles, schedule maintenance, and record fuel usage. There are several features that will appeal especially to serious hobbyists who own and work on multiple vehicles, including an inventory tracker and vendor database. We also liked the programs' report feature; this allows users to run 13 different reports, showing everything from fuel log details to service reminders. Vehicle Manager 2010 is very easy to navigate, and even users who aren't particularly computer savvy should be able to catch on quickly. The program's built-in Help file is well-written and thorough, with plenty of screen shots. Overall, we think that Vehicle 2008 is a great choice for any household that's serious about vehicle maintenance. Our father would approve.

Vehicle Manager 2010 installs and uninstalls without issues. We recommend this program to all users.

Editors' note: This is a review of the full version of Vehicle Manager 2010 2.0.1106. The trial version is limited to 5 records trial only.
