Graphic grabber

Save numerous images from the Web with this intuitive program.

At first the purpose of this program puzzled us. Why would you want to download all of the images on a given Web site? We pondered this for a moment and then it dawned on; although we're sure there are other reasons, the first one that occurred to us starts with a P and ends with a -orn. Whatever your reasons, if you find yourself needing to grab a lot of images off the Web in a hurry, Web Image Collector is exactly what you need.

The program's interface is plain and intuitive, with graphical buttons that represent its major features. The search and download function has four options: users can download all the images from a given Web site, download images from a Web site in sequence, search the Web for images using keywords, or search a thumbnail gallery post (TGP) site using keywords. A sign-in feature lets users log into membership-based sites and start downloading automatically. Web Image Collector creates a thumbnail slideshow of the downloaded images, which users can copy, move, and email. The program loses points for its lack of a Help file, but it's honestly pretty intuitive, so this isn't a huge drawback. Overall, we found Web Image Collector to be very easy and effective to use, and we think it's a great choice for quickly downloading large numbers of images.

Web Image Collector has a 15-day trial period. The program installs and uninstalls without issues. We recommend this program to all users.
