Farm Craft is an entertaining time-management game in which users must juggle the responsibilities of running a farm, or at least an extremely simplified cartoon version of one. We've seen other games that are very similar to Farm Craft, and we'd say that Farm Craft is about average in terms of quality and fun.
In this rendition of the increasingly popular agricultural fantasy game, our heroine, Ginger, is involved in a battle to save her family's small farm from big agribusiness. What this means for you, the player, is that you're going to spend a lot time with Ginger digging garden patches, planting seeds, watering, fertilizing, and harvesting. With each harvest, Ginger sells her produce and earns money that can be used to buy new seed, bigger watering cans, and so on. Some of the game's details are a little bit different, but the premise of Farm Craft is virtually identical to other such farming games. New challenges and opportunities appear as players advance through the game, and Ginger grows increasingly busy as her farm expands. We tend to find this kind of game somewhat stressful, but for users who are into this kind of thing--and there seem to be many--it's likely to be a fun choice. There's no Help file per se, but an introduction and built-in instructions make the game easy to play.
Farm Craft has a 60-minute trial period. It installs and uninstalls without issues. We recommend this agricultural game to all users.
