Simple, secure data storage

Keep passwords and other sensitive data secure with this intuitive program.

Keeper Desktop is a quick and easy way for users to store passwords, account numbers, and other sensitive information securely on their computers. With an intuitive interface and strong encryption, Keeper Desktop is a great way to keep your information both safe and accessible.

The program's interface is sleek and well organized, and we found it quite easy to create a master password and then start adding new account information. The program has a random username and password generator, which is handy if you want to create a new, more secure log-in for any of your accounts. Accessing the accounts that you have stored is as easy as scrolling through a list, which can be sorted alphabetically or by age. The interface is really quite simple; what sets this program apart is its array of security features. By default, users are logged out of the program after 60 seconds of inactivity. This can be adjusted if desired, but we like that this feature all but eliminates the possibility that someone will stumble upon your open Keeper Desktop and view your account information. The program also has an optional self-destruct feature; if the master password is entered incorrectly five times, all of your saved data is destroyed. Along with 128-bit AES encryption, these features make Keeper Desktop appropriate for storing all types of private data. There's even a mobile version of the program, allowing users to sync information between a computer and a mobile device. The PDF Help file is well-written and thorough.

Keeper Desktop has a 15-day trial period. It installs desktop icons without asking and leaves a folder behind upon removal. We recommend this program to all users.
