Spooky slot game

Play this Halloween-themed slot machine for ghostly fun.

Pro Reels Haunted House offers a simple slot machine game with some spooky surprises. While its controls could have been improved, this game is a fun diversion for those who like gambling with imaginary money.

The program's interface was a mixed bag. While it was stunningly professional-looking, with its cartoon graphics and haunted house theme, its controls demanded a visit to the Help file's brief instructions because we'd have been lost without them. We were disappointed to find that we needed to use the F1 and F4 keys, which felt primitive and didn't inspire confidence. However, the game played like a regular slot machine with three reels spinning, but instead of fruit or whatever, its reels were filled with spooky stuff like goblins and other Halloween-themed prizes. We were able to hold our reels, which was a nice touch. Gameplay felt very realistic, at least to us, considering we mostly lost money. However, the game became a lot of fun once we matched up three ghosts and were taken to the game-within-a-game feature. This was a contest of the card game High/Low with a skeleton that resulted in big prizes for guessing correctly. While the game didn't revolutionize slot machines, it was a fun toy for those in the Halloween spirit.

Pro Reels Haunted House has a five-use trial limitation. It installs desktop icons without permission and leaves folders after uninstalling.
