Sparse puzzle game

Don't expect on-going entertainment from this three-round game.

Spot the Difference II is a puzzle game in which users must identify subtle differences between two photos. Although the content of the game isn't bad, the fact that there is so little of it--only three rounds--makes the game a bit of a waste of time.

The game's interface is simple, displaying two images side-by-side. Users must find all five differences between the two images in a given amount of time. If you succeed you move on to the next level, and if not, the game starts again. Users are given five hints that they can use throughout the game, each of which identifies a difference for you. The images that are included in the game are quite challenging, which is nice. Unfortunately, the game only has three levels, and the same three images are used over and over again. Each image has multiple versions, so the differences aren't the same every time, but eventually they repeat often enough that they're easy to remember. Most users should be able to beat the game within five minutes, so it doesn't offer much in the way of on-going entertainment. It also contains no options or Help file; the whole thing is pretty sparse. We suppose that if you're really into this sort of puzzle you may find the program worth downloading, but most users will be bored with it quickly.

Spot the Difference II is free. It installs and uninstalls without issues. We recommend this program with reservations; it works fine, but it gets old pretty quickly.
