APT Sports Scheduler provides users with the capability to manage and schedule games for various sports fields. While users may need to take time learning the program, it will be very beneficial for juggling multiple teams and locations.
We quickly became frustrated by the program's interface, as it provided no direction. The Help file's brief descriptions of each command and some experimenting allowed us to operate things smoothly. We were soon populating a database for sporting fields. The options include everything from baseball and football fields to tennis courts. By using a menu similar to calendaring software, we scheduled practice times for each field, which also allowed us to assign specific players and teams. Using a similar scheduler, we also penciled in maintenance for each field. The program's best added feature is the option to view the day's reservations. Since juggling multiple sporting fields can get confusing, this simple bar chart showed us every minute of used time. The entire program reminded us of Microsoft's Outlook and proved to be a simple way of keeping track of sporting locales.
The program comes with a 60-day trial. We recommend this program because it succeeds in allow you to visually monitor and schedule time on playing fields, despite its rocky interface.
