Doesn't deliver as promised

Analyze your life situation, but don't expect a two-sided explanation.

MB Karmic Astrology gives users an analysis of their life situation and personality based on their birth date. Although the program does provide results, we're not sure that it functions exactly as it should.

The first screen of the program is cluttered with ads for Mystic Board, the program's publisher. On the next screen users enter their name and date of birth, and the program then provides the analysis. (It's worth noting that this part of the program features yellow text on a pink background, which is both hard to read and gross.) The program explains that there are two parts to the analysis; the north node describes the traits that users need to develop, while the south node describes the traits that users already posses. The screen is split into two sections that are supposed to be devoted to each node, yet the same information is present on both sides. We entered several different birth dates to see if this was always the case, and it was. Although the analysis was fairly detailed, presenting the exact same passage of text twice did not impress us. The program did not have any other features or options, and the online Help file only addressed the program's basic functions.

MB Karmic Astrology has a 30-day trial period. It installs desktop icons without asking and leaves a folder behind upon removal. We do not particularly recommend this program; although the analysis it provided wasn't bad, it didn't seem to deliver what was promised.
