One of the best

Manage files and folders with this well-designed program.

It's refreshing to come across a program that has a smart, straightforward design, and combines it with good performance. FlexTk Express is such a program and is one of the best file managers we've seen in a while. And to top it all off, it's free.

The user interface uses stylish command buttons at the top of the window that lets you search, organize, sync, classify, and clean up files as needed. You're greeted with a view of your hard disks, including the amount of free and used space for each. We were able to use the program's search functionality to locate specific files on our hard disks. We were also able to search for files in our Documents folder. We were impressed by the Analyze feature, which broke down the contents of our folder and detailed each file's size, and from the same window we were able to export, copy, and move files. The program's other features used the same easy approach for managing files.

You'll have to manually delete a few files if you uninstall FlexTk Express, but this is a small price to pay for this freeware. Our only complaint with the program is that it doesn't have a built-in help feature. Rather, the help link takes you to the publisher's Web site, and even then, it merely describes the features instead of offer any kind of real help. Still, most users will find the program extremely simple to operate. We highly recommend it for file management.
