Pretty control panel, but I don't see how it works!
Why don't they test things on non-geeks first?
How do I get rid of the junk they found? or is it a gimmick to buy it?

- I have been an AdAware user and promotor for many years but I find that I am not able to download AdAware 2008 into any of the computers that own or help out with.

(7 Comments)The instructions strongly suggest that we disable all of our security programs but try to disable without uninstalling AdAware, Spybot, AVG8.0, Windows Defender, or Spyware blaster. I have uninstalled all of them, and turned off my Windows Firewall, and when I click on the download link I just get a new IE7 window with a thankyou. I would search my hard drive to see if it hid the executable file except that I really doubt that ther entire program could be downloaded over a 56k modem in less than 10 seconds. Lavasoft need to make the download user friendly.
