This powerful application offers extensive utilities to improve your system's performance and protect your privacy. Glary Utilities' well-organized interface allows users to easily choose from several tools. It cleans unwanted junk files and removes invalid and broken shortcuts, freeing up valuable disk space.

There's a registry cleaner that allows you to scan, remove, and back up faulty entries. You also can wipe out Internet Explorer traces and tweak start-up programs and memory optimization. Privacy-conscious users will certainly appreciate the inclusion of a government-standard file shredder to securely delete data. Users who are looking for an effective and easy-to-use application to keep their system in tip-top shape should try this one out.

RegVac or jv16 Power Tools does the job way better. And you always end up needing CCleaner or something similar to really clean up your computer, even if your utility suit claims it does the job. Here's my take on misc security tools: http://techqi.blogspot.com/2008/01/miscellaneous-security-software-part-1.html

Ran Glary, RegVac and jv16 on same virtual drive. No great difference. With AntiVir, Spyware Terminator and Advanced Windows Care all keeping the peace, seems the first three were six of one, half dozen of the other. Did have to adjust for 64 bit system, but wasn't difficult. Glary Utilities not as poor as tashfeen_m seems to think.

@aitchondo: Just (re)tried it: Tracks Eraser Pro found 11 registry entries and 16 files, *after* Glary was done cleaning. Plus, only the 1-Click Maintenance seems to work -- perhaps the pro version is different, but these days even lots of free registry cleaners offer more options than that (esp. log files and rollbacks come to mind).

I use CCleaner, but reading CNET's description, and some reviews on other sites, makes me want to download this program. Although, I need to know something. It says there that it wipes out Internet Explorer traces. That's good and all, but Mozilla Firefox has been my main browser for almost two years now. Does it do the same for Firefox?
