Bookmarks, security updates for Firefox 3.0.11
Mozilla has fixed a number of security holes and made some stability improvements to the public version of Firefox. Available for Windows, Mac, and Linux, Firefox 3.0.11 also addresses a specific bug that would corrupt a user's bookmarks database.
According to the Bugzilla report, the corrupted bookmark database was the most common bug reported via Live Chat and in the Firefox support forum.
The security patches in v3.0.11 fix a hole in a JavaScript chrome execution along with other arbitrary code executions, URL spoofing, and memory corruption. The full list of security fixes can be read here, and the release notes are available here.
Seth peers into the deep, dark corners of software so that you don't have to. He has yet to suffer a single nightmare about OS/2. You can follow him on Twitter.

I use Firefox 2 build 15 is very stable and no problems so far! No crash. Build 16 to 21 have bugger, I notice them. Do not going new version. I stick Firefox 2 forever without worry upgrade new latest version.
SeaMonkey is much better similar to Firefox 2. To avoid us to be headache on bugger versions. Be careful.
Do not confuse the unstability of the additional stuff -that eventually lead to the unstability of the whole program- (but that's not to blame mozilla for) with the unstability of the standard application. It is not unstable itself.
I've only the very necessary and I experience crashes once in a month or so.
The main problem with MS OS or IE, is that changes are quite drastic. It puts you off balance.
Daily routine is a continuity of daily chores with little or no change in SOP.
We all want to feel comfortable when doing what we like, or love to do.
That is computing. Microsoft tries too hard to please a multitude of voices, yet hanging on to old practices because the voices or buyers are not ready to make abrupt changes. Yes, the changes
can cost time and money.
I for one, is hanging on because it is my only past time which makes the world feel so close.
The Firefox Team and fans have my thanks for the good work being presented to us.
Using MozBackup from the good system doesn't help ?
All updated add-ons should be compatible with FF 3.5b99 right now, so it shouldn't be a big problem.

I've used IE all my life and Firefox is just a million times better than IE. It was hard to get used to though. I had to figure out what userchrome file was but after a few days I got everything customized.
With this in mind, what do you prefer? An open-source development model, where hundreds/thousands of people around the world help spot bugs and patch them quickly, or the same dumb and flawed "security through obscurity" approach by Microsoft with their closed-source IE browser?
When will MS patch IE's biggest security hole: ActiveX
