Tonight you're probably going to make some hefty New Year's resolutions, which statistically you're never going to keep. Why not at least make a change you know will make a difference immediately? A Firefox theme can change the feel of your browser and all it takes is a simple download. You can't just waltz into a new year without making a few changes, right?

We've put together a nice slide show of downloadable Firefox themes so you can improve your browsing experience in the New Year.

Jason Parker writes software reviews and features for Windows, Mac, and iPhone. If he learned to dance, it would make him a fabled "quadruple threat," but we can't get him to do it.

There are neither links nor any names to identify them.

For some reason i cannot download these themes. I can save them, but if i try to open them my pc says windows needs to find the programme that created the file and then thats it.
I can download other files from this site like binary files. But not these themes, does anyone know why this might be?

Neat pictures. Imagine how useful this could be if the themes were either a) linked or b) identified.
Thanks for improving the start of a new year.

I hate that I found out the hard way what the names of these themes were. Once I did find out their names I slapped my forehead after noticing the "tags" at the end of the posting (underneath "Topics" and above "Share" and the Digg link). Those are all the names of the themes. Heavencube is slide 3/7 I think and my favorite, mGant, is slide 4/7. Enjoy!

P.S. Make it easier to identify these next time Cnet. Please? :)

Jason, great write up! I know I'm seeing this late, but have you been following what Brand Thunder is doing? They have mastered this concept and continue to grow within the browser theme arena. www.brandthunder.com
