AirWatch security app gets EyeVerify's eye-scanning powers

Eye-scanning firm EyeVerify is adding its eye-vein technology to AirWatch's Secure Content Locker -- a business-centric app that keeps your work documents secure from prying eyes.

Unveiling its latest tie-up at mobile mega-show Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, EyeVerify says that businesses who use AirWatch's technology can enable the biometric security from the AirWatch console, saving users the hassle of typing in a passcode by scanning their eyes instead.

Samsung Galaxy S5 may sport fingerprint sensor, says analyst

Samsung thinks the Touch ID feature in the iPhone 5S is a pretty nifty idea worth including in its upcoming Galaxy S5, if a note from a Chinese analyst with a pretty solid track record of predicting upcoming smartphone features (including Touch ID) turns out to be accurate.

Samsung exec: We're being more cautious with unproven device features

LAS VEGAS -- Samsung has never hesitated to release to introduce far-out features in its mobile devices, but that may be changing a bit.
