VSCO Cam is an elegant photo effects app with a minimalist interface, which lets you create great-looking shots in only a few steps.

Review: Photo Frame Free offers numerous, free ways to customize photos on iOS

Photo Frame Free looks like just another free photo framing and collage app, at first glance, but it stands out from that oversized pack with the number of frames, stickers, and options included for free. While the app offers very little new or exciting to the already very crowded list of apps with similar features, it does offer quite a few options within its feature set.

When you open Photo Frame Free you can select one of nearly 50 different frames for your photos. From there you can tap any frame to load an image to it from your photo … Read more

Review: Pic Slice Free Picture Collage has a lot of tools and a handful of issues

Pic Slice Free Picture Collage has a lot of great features, but is severely bogged down in some cases by a clunky interface and frequent interruptions from ads and other menus. The result is a bittersweet experience that feels as though it could be brilliant if more work were put into the execution of certain functions.

Within 30 seconds of opening Pic Slice for the first time there is a pop-up onscreen asking you to rate the app and then to upgrade. That theme continues throughout your use of the app, with frequent reminders and pop-up ads. Ads will also … Read more

Review: What's My Picture connects you and your friends in a picture guessing game

What's My Picture is a fun and unique new app that integrates with your Facebook account and allows you to connect with and compete against fellow users. The goal of the app is to take and share photos with friends through the game interface and prompt them to guess what the image is. It's a sort of take on Draw Something, but with real photos in a chat-style interface, and it works quite well.

Initial setup for What's My Picture is a bit time-consuming. While it connects with Facebook, you'll also need to sign up for … Read more
