Very puzzling

If loving jigsaw puzzles makes us nerdy, we're OK with that. Any true puzzle lover has high standards, though, and we're afraid that if you're serious about puzzles, Jigsaw Puzzle Lite may not be for you--at least not if you're looking for a free puzzle program.

Pleasantly puzzling

We love jigsaw puzzles, but we can't say we'd ever tried playing them on our computer before. It seemed like a good idea--no chances for our cat to abscond with our puzzles pieces--but we weren't sure how well an electronic version would really replicate the experience of completing a puzzle in real life. Salesforce buying contact crowd-sourcer Jigsaw

Salesforce.com is buying business data provider Jigsaw for $142 million, a move designed to help customers more easily build contact lists in their Salesforce databases.

The deal to acquire the San Mateo, Calif.-based company was announced Wednesday.

Salesforce offers cloud-based CRM (customer relationship management) applications geared toward businesses that need to keep track of and communicate with customers, clients, and other contacts. But the process for finding, adding, and organizing contacts can be cumbersome, Salesforce noted, especially if people are manually entering that information into their databases.
