McAfee All Access 2013 Review

Now owned by Intel, McAfee All Access is a professional-grade personal computer security suite that comes with apps for Mac and Android. It's the premium security product from McAfee, but while its features are top-notch, its competitors do better at security-efficacy benchmarking.

BitByBit for iOS fails to impress

The publisher of BitByBit for iOS touts it as the "original brain training video," which had us intrigued. But after we spent some time with it, it just left us scratching our heads. All we can say about it is that it's a video-creation tool that takes still images and morphs them into a slowly-moving video.

BitByBit for iOS opens with the main menu, which includes three nondescript buttons. Not sure where to go, we tapped the button that looked like it would contain settings and possibly a help feature. From there, we could select a language … Read more

The next generation of Motorola smartphones may allow for custom designed handsets, if ongoing chatter is to be believed.

According to a recent AndroidAndMe post, the rumored X Phone is actually part of a larger brand and approach that includes user-defined configurations for color, storage capacity, ringtones, apps, and more.

If that weren't enough to whip fanboys into a frenzy, a source close to the blog suggests that memory, processors, and carrier support may be customizable as well. Reportedly, Motorola will guarantee one-week delivery for custom devices.

While the casual smartphone observer might find the rumors just a tad &… Read more
