Sparkling Drink Systems bids to take the fizz out of Keurig Cold

Earlier this year Coca-Cola and Keurig announced a partnership for Keurig Cold, a CO2 cartridge-free carbonated drink maker expected in stores later this year. Around the same time, a company called Sparkling Drinks Systems - Innovation Center (SDS-IC) said it has been developing its own at-home carbonated beverage tech since November 2007, one that also doesn't require CO2 cartridges. With backing from Paris-based company Initiative & Finance SDS-IC plans to unveil six products related to DIY carbonated drinks in the second half of 2014.

Yahoo Finance site gets more personal

Yahoo has given its Finance Web site a new look and layout designed to deliver more personalized information.

You can now add a list of stocks that you own or want to follow in the upper left corner. The page then displays the current trading price of each one. Clicking on the More button reveals further details, such as the latest price changes and the market capitalization. And clicking on a specific ticker symbol takes you to a full page with information on that particular stock.

Yahoo has revamped its iOS Finance app to help you better track your portfolio.

Unveiled Wednesday in Apple's App Store, Yahoo Finance version 2.0 offers a more personalized touch for investors and financial news junkies.

You can now customize the app's news feed by picking the stocks you want to follow. In return, Yahoo Finance displays the current trading prices and the latest news headlines for your chosen stocks. You can easily add or remove stocks from your tracking list.
