The event was held at the elegant 450 Club complete with hors d'oeuvres (vodka spritzer, anyone?), desserts, and of course, an open bar. Sometimes it's the simplest ideas that offer the best solutions. The idea of having oven racks always at the ready is as simple as it is perfect. Pile up the food and cook it all at once. Little did we know that the cupcake craze was actually a symptom of a much larger desire for individualized desserts. Sure, we've always had tartlets, creme brulee, and pudding. But lately we've noticed a couple of ideas for turning normally communal desserts into single-serving affairs.
