Review: TheTruthSpy is an absurdly powerful spying app

TheTruthSpy is one of the most advanced spying apps available for Android, but it's also one of the most frustrating to set up. It took us so many attempts just to register that we almost gave up on the app entirely. It's a good thing the app was worth the frustration once we got to its good parts.

This app monitors all of the activity on an Android phone or tablet from another phone or Web interface. In addition to seeing all of the calls, texts, and photos like you would on most spying apps, this one can … Read more

Review: Orbit Downloader downloads batch files quickly, but comes with junkware

Orbit Downloader makes it easy to download lots of files, but it's not really worth all of the junkware it packages with it. There are almost a half-dozen different programs and toolbars this download will try to add. Even the program, itself, is riddled with ads for other programs you don't want. The small boost in features isn't enough to justify this download.

This program throws more junk programs at you during the install than you could ever count. Even if you opt out of all of them, one or two will still randomly start installing themselves … Read more

HTC's global One S gets Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean

Android 4.1.1, also known as Jelly Bean, will finally make its way to some global versions of the HTC One S.

HTC phones have been slow to get the latest version of Android, partly because the company has chosen to heavily customize its products with the Sense skin, which adds a layer of complexity to future software upgrades. In addition, the updates must be approved … Read more

Quick download enhancer

For users who download a great deal of content, there are always headaches in the process. No matter how fast your computer runs, downloading seems to slow down and complicate matters. GetGo Download Manager proved to be worthy of the task of taming the download process.
