Samsung, Swarovski release blinged-out Galaxy Note 3 cover

Samsung and Swarovski have partnered to deliver a custom cover for the Galaxy Note 3. On display at this year's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York, the $300 crystal-clad cover is also on sale for a limited time.

The Galaxy Note 3 case is bundled with a matching bracelet and comes in three color options: Jet (black), Crystal Bermuda Blue and Crystal Metallic Light Gold, and Crystal Metallic Silver. There is one catch -- you'll have to trek to Swarovski's retail store in Manhattan, New York to get one.

iPhone 5, Galaxy S3 named in upcoming Apple-Samsung trial

Apple and Samsung have provided their final list of allegedly infringing devices for their next mega trial.

Apple on Tuesday presented to the San Jose, Calif., federal court a slew of Samsung products -- including the Admire, Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy Note, Galaxy Note II, and Galaxy S3 -- that it contends violates its patents. Samsung responded, saying that it believes Apple's iPhone 4, 4S, and 5 -- along with the iPad 2, 3, and 4, among others -- infringe on its patents.

Hey, business users, the Samsung Galaxy TabPro could be your next tablet

With its Galaxy TabPro 12.2, Samsung takes direct aim at Microsoft, the Surface 2, and the productivity tablet market. Thanks to its huge bounty of business apps, the TabPro can easily challenge the Surface 2 as the best ARM-based productivity tablet and may even be able to surpass it.

Tablet market up 50 percent, led by Apple, Samsung, Amazon

The holidays proved to be a boon for the tablet market. Worldwide shipments of the iPad, Kindle, Galaxy Note, and other tablets grew to 76.9 million in the fourth quarter of 2013. That's 62.4 percent growth over the previous quarter. For the full year of 2013, tablet shipments totaled 217.1 million, up from 144.2 million in 2012 -- which equals a growth rate of 50.6 percent.

You'd be hard-pressed to find a simpler, more natural-feeling note-taking app for the iPad than INKredible. Samsung investigates Note 3 accessory woes

Samsung is aware of a problem with its Note 3 smart phone, which sees third-party accessories not working on phones running Android 4.4 KitKat.

The arrival of the new version of Android saw some third-party accessories (cases, for example) stop working, SamMobile reports. A statement on the subject was provided in German to site, but now CNET UK has been sent an English-language reaction from the South Korean tech giant, attributed to a Samsung spokesperson.
