    "Has spyware!"

    January 28, 2013  |   By inaun

Does not hide the fact that it is bundles with nasty spyware -- just read terms of service before you accept them.

Changes your web-searches and re-directs you based on advertisement words.

Get something else -- don't support spyware!

This is completely false. 7-zip does not and never has had any sort of spyware/malware in it. The official website is www.7-zip.org. There is a scam site out there that is passing off infected programming under the guise of being 7-zip. It sounds like you downloaded from a bogus website.
