Developer's Description

Analyse and graphically represent data from Lotus Notes databases.
3K Report Tool is a software solution designed to analyse and graphically represent data, which is stored in Lotus Notes databases. The solution eliminates limitations of Lotus Notes views, enables Lotus Notes databases to be smaller and more responsive and makes it possible for users to make correct business decisions based on current data. No prior technical knowledge is required for the definition of reports while options for analysis are practically unlimited. A report definition provides a template for its creation. The definition includes data that is to be used in the report and what you would like to track with the report. Using an existing Domino report a new report definition can be created with just a few mouse clicks. All definitions are managed from a single location, their number is unlimited and each can be set to be only available to a certain number of end users. As you design a report you must first define creation data (e.g. date range, business partners, number interval, etc.). Definition of these criteria gives you a level of dynamics that you cannot get with Lotus Notes views. The filtered data is listed in the form of a dynamic table, where the columns are defined by the report definition and the rows depend on the number of matching records. Individual rows are linked to specific documents in the Domino database and they can be opened directly from the 3K Report Tool application. The acquired data can also be represented in the form a graph - it is possible to generate pie charts and column charts. We can carry out additional functions on the acquired data, as follows: sorting into categories, filtering, calculation of sums and averages for individual categories, adding and removing of columns in a report. All additional data operations are carried out on the user's computer and do not represent an additional load for the Domino server. Produced reports can be exported to MS Excel, so exported data can be used for further analysis. Reports can also be printed from the 3K Report Tool application.
