A fun variation on the classic mah-jongg puzzle, this title should please folks who don't encounter the stability issues we uncovered in certain tests. In some tests, 3D Magic Mahjongg Holidays Christmas detected that our computer was not powerful enough to run the game, and recommended some fixes. We had to choose another rendering option to get it to work properly. The game itself places a mah-jongg game in five holiday settings, including Christmas, Halloween, Easter, Independence Day, and Valentine's Day. However, Christmas is the only board available in the demo, and the application also displays nag screens. Unfortunately, in one test, we couldn't get the cursor to the Exit icon, forcing us to quit via Windows' Task Manager. Despite this negative, we did appreciate the number of customization options, including the ability to adjust the sound, to enable or disable background effects, and to determine the intensity of the shadows. Although this program isn't ideal for users with older or less-powerful PCs, 3D Magic Mahjongg Holidays makes a nice pick for most other fans of the game.Publisher's description

The goal is to clear the board by removing all 144 tiles in matching pairs. Enjoy five backdrops with special holiday graphics and music, including those for Easter, Christmas, Halloween, Fourth of July, and Valentine's Day. Other features include a unique game-analysis feature, statistics, high-score tables, a camera panel, and undo/redo functionality. The game is nonviolent and fun for all ages.

Pros: Easy to distinguish open and blocked tiles. Drawings are bright and colourful and the top-scorer ratings are a nice feature.
Cons: Next level should automatically open when previous level completed.
