  "turn uac on"

  Pros: on vista this program wants you turn the uac back on.

  Cons: i'm 100% sure i would rarely use this so instead of turning on the uac i uninstalled the program just for requesting me to reset my setting just for it.

  "3-d all the way"

  Pros: There is really nothing bad to say about this. It may be a bit sketchy for some but once you master it, it's easy to create whatever you want. I do recommend having a good graphics card to run this as it will bog down onboard very easily.

  "You'll learn modeling, texturing, skeletons, and animating in a couple of days."

  Pros: This software is so simple to use and you'll be able to learn all the features in a couple of days. The tutorials are straight-forward and easy to understand.

  Cons: Some of the cool features (like particles) are only in the paid upgrade versions. And frankly, the graphics aren't that good. Just to get semi-respectable lighting, you need the upgrade. If you plan on making Sims-quality animations, get this. But, if you're willing to take the time to learn a very hi-quality program, get something like Blender.
