Cons: I am extremely disappointed that C-net would even accept advertising money from a bottom feeder scum company like this. It kinda makes one wonder how much more of C-net's recommendations are more dollar motivated than genuine.

Pros: This is head and shoulders above the next best photo viewing and manipulation application for the "family photo" level user. The included features, the ease of use, the flat learning curve, and all other aspects of this application are "top shelf", at least for the non-professional home user, regardless of cost. I am not a professional or highly technical user, so my perspective is from the home user who is so often ignored by the software development community. Faststone has not ignored the needs and skill level of this group in "Faststome Image Viewer". Thank you Faststone.
Cons: Lacks a duplicated photo finder. Would be nice to have the ability to locate duplicated photos whether they have the same, or different, file names. (This is a suggestion for future improvement, not a complaint with current version!)

Pros: Probably, at least possibly, a good application, but it is quite complicated and confusing to get setup.
Cons: I have not been able to figure how to get it to work. Perhaps it is like so many other utility programs and is only suitable for advanced IT professionals. Cannot get it to sync, much less to do so automatically.

Pros: You just install it and every few days you open it and it runs and finds a few standard spy cookies and you delete them and life goes on. I guess that makes this be a really good program to have. I like it.
Cons: Seems to take longer to scan than the old version did, but I rationalize that is because it is scanning better. May be because it is now on a (YUCK) Vista machine.

Pros: Free
Cons: I found this product unacceptably intrusive. It did not "just work in the background"; it continually was blocking sites that I have been using for years, constantly was flashing warnings or requests for permission. It reminded me too much of Computer Associates "Internet Security Suite". I fretted with "Comode" for about a month then uninstalled it.
