Pros: Adobe Reader has all the bells and whistles for those who make use of _all_ of full-blown Acrobat's authoring capabilities.
Cons: Adobe Reader has mushroomed into a beast of a program, with plug-ins and extensions without end. Loading is slow, and viewing is slower than it used to be. Foxit Reader is a much smaller PDF viewer with tabbed browsing and faster display performance. I would highly recommend it over Reader.

Pros: Like many people I need to peruse many pages in PDFs to look for information. Using Adobe Reader 8, I was finding that it was unforgivably slow in scrolling through pages. Foxit, on the other hand, is much faster than Reader in opening and viewing PDFs -- making me more productive. And it's a fraction of the size of the ridiculously bloated Reader product, whose mere size ought to make it categorized as malware ;-)
Cons: I have not encountered the problems listed in the other reviews. Note that PDFs created in Acrobat for annotation using Adobe Reader cannot be annotated using Foxit. But if you are simply looking for a fast reader, than Foxit will do that better than Adobe Reader.

Pros: Light; simple; free; tracks all the data I need to track my time. Allows me to track time in each project I'm working on. It also tracks time in each drawing of the building I'm designing... so when I need to calculate how much time I've worked on a building I'm designing, tells me how much time in CAD, e-mails, internet usage etc. that I've done on each day. Excellent for architects, engineers and those who bill for work done on a computer.
Cons: The pro version allows better reporting -- but it if you need that.

Pros: - Communicate with users on all the chat networks using one app
- Good design, low use of resources
- Stable
Cons: - IM nets sometimes change login methodology, locking out Trillian
- New contacts added to MSN user list sometimes don't show up, or do so after a few hours

Pros: We'd tell you if we could get it to run!
Cons: We can't get it to run - it crashes immediately upon starting, which 6.2 and Trillian don't do
