Pros: Easy to install and easy to use.
Cons: This program will quickly take the SWF file and turn it into a SCR file. However, after the screen saver is done playing, you will get a big nag screen up asking you to register this software. This program should be re-classified as Shareware.

Pros: I'm certain this is a good scanner. Bitdefender is a well known and well respected company.
Cons: 1. Uses ActiveX and requires Internet Explorer. I'd much rather have a regular small download. I don't like ActiveX.
2. If it identifies files it believes are infected, it will delete them without warning. I found at least two files that it identified as infected that were actually not malware. This is not acceptable to me or most people I know.

Pros: No registration required.
10mb upload limit is good for most pics.
Cons: The direct link uses a php page link instead of a true link. There are no handy upload tools or browser addons to help with web clippings.

Pros: It looks pretty.
Cons: The very first DVD I tried it gave me this message.
"You could not open copy protected disc"

Pros: Slate is small, fast, and full of cool features that make editing rich text a joy.
Cons: Slate writes all it's files in HTML. However, it does not support entering web links into the documents it creates. If I'm going to write HTML, I want links in it.
