    Google Maps for iOS

It's back ... finally. With the release of iOS 6 and the fiasco that is Apple Maps, Google came to the rescue and released a Google Maps App for iOS that even has some new features. The new simple interface is a little different than when it came standard on the iPhone, but the functions are all there. Traffic data is still available as well as public transit and satellite view.

A two-finger swipe will bring up a 3D view of your location. A turn-by-turn voice navigation feature is now available that will give most paid navigation apps a run for their money. Location can be synced with your Google account for faster searching. The Google Maps app for iOS is almost on par with its Android counterpart. The only lacking feature is the ability to cache and an iPad-optimized version.
