Skype for iPad (review) won't arrive until Tuesday, June 28, but we got to test it out before the official launch. If the app design wowed us, it was with its utter plainness, unlike so many iPad apps do that have been formulated to impress on a 10-inch screen. Even though we found our way around, there's incredible room for improvement, both in terms of intuitive layout and visual pop.
