Welcome to BlackBerry App World 2.0
BlackBerry App World 2.0 won't only feature an enhanced user interface when the beta debuts, likely in late June. It will also feature scanning for QR barcodes, a BlackBerry ID to help track and transfer your phone's content if you switch devices, and will introduce the new payment options we've been craving since BlackBerry App World sprang into view in April 2009.
We got the lay of the land on a BlackBerry running App World 2.0. One of the UI changes you'll notice is a simplified menu that whittles five icon choices to four. Instead of showing an icon each for the top 25 free and paid apps, App World 2.0 now combines them into one.
