A wizard that runs during installation can get you started scheduling regular scans. (For the record, you can always change scan times in the program settings.) The wizard will then prompt you to opt-in to AVG Anti-Virus-Free-Edition's data-gathering program that collects surfing data about malicious sites for later analysis.
