AVG has divvied up the LinkScanner technology it acquired from buying Exploit Prevention Labs. You'll still see green, yellow, and red safety ratings next to search results in AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition, but only those who have purchased a premium version will see those color-coded ratings from real-time scans on the Web page itself. If you want to see Web site ratings while using this app, you can always install the free versions of McAfee SiteAdvisor for Firefox or Internet Explorer.
