"Latest version is a giant step backwards"
Version: 1Password 3.8.17
Pros
None - I bought both PC and Mac versions and it was fine in prior versions - this latest version is useless to me.
Cons
More intrusive, no cancel button on the pop up (have to press escape to dismiss), worst, it no longer appears in my bank secure window, and the right click method doesn't work. Look elsewhere!
Summary
It WAS great, but this latest version is useless for me and I want my money back. I recommend going to a freebie, like Password Safe - simple because it's not integrated into the browser, but it works now as well as it did when I installed it years ago.

"AVOID AVOID AVOID"
Version: 1Password 3.8.17
Pros
When it works it is fantastic--which is not all that often. I can't tell you how much I loved it when I first got it. It worked great on my Mac computers.
Cons
They cannot keep up with the updates and new versions. Something which seems simple has gotten too cumbersome for the vendor to manage. Every update in either browser or application will screw everything up. It never worked well on the iPad or iPhone. I had to cut and paste passwords to make those work. A cheap encrypted password folder do that, and while not elegant, at least will be reliable. If you want a new headache everytime they try to improve this software--if you want to be a beta tester and report problems, you will be screwed. I also was recently forced to update to a beta version because the previous version did not work at all. The company responds to help request fairly quickly, but honestly, who has time to talk to these people so frequently? I want something that works without headaches. THIS IS NOT IT!
Summary
I am so sorry I wasted my money on this application for both my Mac computers and my iPhone and iPad.

"Simply the best!"
Version: 1Password 3.8.17
Pros
Stores Passwords for quick entry.
Stores software information, Keys, ID'd etc
Keeps a lot of data organized.
Secure notes
Full information on identities.
Much,much more!Cons
Have found none yet with my use in 2 years.
Summary
I have been using 1Password for 2 years now and have loved it from the beginning. Agaile keeps it updated in a timely fashion as well.
Every time Apple updates OS X I worry about will 1password be there when Apple updates. In two years have not had to worry. 1Password has kept up with all the updates from Apple and it just keeps functioning flawlessly.
Thank you Agile.
