Although this program lacks some features we like to see in a dedicated privacy application, it does provide several handy tools for clearing junk files from your hard drive. 1Cleanup's interface may confuse newcomers, as it's littered with many tiny icons and isn't very well organized. On the privacy front, the program basically clears away your Web-surfing tracks from Opera, Internet Explorer, and Netscape browsers. However, unlike many of its brethren, 1Cleanup can't wipe away your history from such system areas as the Run menu and the Recycle Bin, and it unfortunately doesn't support the cleaning of third-party apps such as IM clients or the Microsoft Office suite. We'd also like to see a secure file shredder for irrecoverably erasing data. Despite these omissions, we did like the program's tools for eradicating junk data such as temporary files and broken shortcuts. 1Cleanup will be useful for those with bloated hard drives, though persons seeking a comprehensive privacy app may want to keep looking.

  Summary: The only complaint I have is that it doesn't seem to clear your internet history folder, just the history drop-down box. It does however clear all your cache and temporary files pretty well and wipes the hard drive which is the best feature of the ... read more >>

  "180 Day Trial!"

  Summary: Download page has 180 day trial, but when you click to run it shrinks to 30 day trial.
  No options I could find to allow cookies to be preserved, such as you may need for this site. To agressive.
