"A little raw and a lot Hungarian, but interesting."
Pros: Solid, no bugs that I found, which is both pleasant and surprising in a small company's first game.
The situation of Hungary as depicted is interesting, and the game includes sufficient detail to engage the mind.
A couple of other saving graces: 1) The game allows you to turn off the music.
2) The game is playable at high resolutions (1280x1024), unusual in a wargame.
3) How often do you get to play as the Hungarians?
Cons: NO FACILITY TO FIND THOSE @$(*#@$! HUNGARIAN CITIES. Seriously, if you don't have an intimate knowledge of Hungarian geography, be prepared to be VERY patient as you hunt for cities that can make things or cities mentioned in the turn's events.
The interface is, at best, idiosyncratic. I did not find it "intuitive" in the least bit. Once you know it, however, it becomes only clunky and annoying.
Also, the "large graphic figures" to represent armies are considerably harder to use and less informative than unit symbols would have been, and aren't nice enough looking to make up for that. (Frankly, they're multi-colored blobs -- not enough resolution available to do what they tried to do at the size they tried to do it at)
