"Works well with my son's programs"

    July 22, 2014   |   By RKalstein892

    Version: 123 Copy DVD Platinum 2013 10.0.2.15

    Pros

My son has a collection of DVD's that he wants to watch on the go when we are in the car. I had this product recommended to me by a friend, so I googled it and download the trial on here. It copied most of the DVD's over to my ipad for him to watch in the car, and for those unable to copy we burned new DVD's. This product does exactly what it says and works very well

    Cons

Some DVD's had trouble copying over

    Summary

This product is wonderful and does exactly what it says. I recommend it to anyone with a large DVD collection they need to compile into one place!

    Version: 123 Copy DVD Platinum 2013 10.0.2.15

    Pros

    - easy transferring
    - converted all DVDs I put in
    - no loss of quality
    - no file corruption

    Cons

    - some crashes during transfer

    Summary

Outstanding program. Needed to convert a series of DVDs purchased off amazon for my class. Took only a few hours to transfer the entire series I plan on showing to them. Great program I plan on using for my classes in the future

    "Fantastic product, absolutely no issues"

    June 17, 2014   |   By ColinMegley

    Version: 123 Copy DVD Platinum 2013 10.0.2.15

    Pros

    - Cuts the time of transferring manually by a lot
    - Opened and transferred every blu-ray/DVD I had without issue
    - Great price for the functionality and included programs

    Cons

    - No cons.

    Summary

I read some reviews and decided to buy after trying the free trial. It's an amazing and efficient product. On my day off I transferred my entire Blu-ray collection onto my iPad without issues. I looked into manually transferring my DVDs over, and without this product it takes FOREVER, making this product a gem and a lifesaver. This product made transferring a simple click of a button. One of my favorite purchases this year

"The copy DVD function has never worked for me"

    May 24, 2013   |   By otimo100

    Version: 123 Copy DVD Platinum 2013 10.0.2.15

    Pros

Has moved thru several PC upgrades w/o an issue

    Cons

Doesn't recognize .VOB files as valid media files.

Fails to open most DVD using an error that infers the DVD is a homemade or poorly formatted disc

    Summary

I bought the retail version at Staples. Had trouble getting it to copy DVD's so I upgraded to Platinum Version. Still wont copy DVD's

I have upgraded PC several times and still no copies. After spending money on a COPY DVD SW I ended up downloading a trial version of something else to make a copy, Pathetic!!

    "123 COPY DVD Platinum."

    December 26, 2012   |   By tallguyfry87

Version: 123 Copy DVD Platinum 2.0.2

    Pros

Burn your movie with COPY DVD 123 but you should buy a decrypt program like anydvdHD.

    Cons

Doesn't Decrypt copy protection like you would like. You'll have to buy a decrypt program from either slysoft.com or dvdfab

But if you already have anydvd and you buy those 25 gb disks like I do. Just decrypt with anydvd HD then ISO to a 25gb bluray disk. And burn it with IMGBURN!!!!!! DUHHH.

    Summary

Software is well worth buying to skip the trouble of headaches with dvd fab. Mostly its better to have the whole movie with 3D films. If you're just going to rip the main movie part. Just decrypt and copy the largest file on the bluray.. I make sure its got the first and end. It should be m2ts format. Most everything reads that and it'll be under 30 gbs.

But don't judge this as bad software its legit and it helps when dvdfab fails.

It may not be worth 75 dollars.. But hey its a business they have to make money too.

Enjoy and hope everybody can understand how great and powerful this software can be if you're smart enough to use it.

    "Not worth buying"

    May 26, 2012   |   By paulntraci99

Version: 123 Copy DVD Platinum 2.0.2

    Pros

    Works with some disc's

    Cons

There's a lot of disc it won't copy. Bought duel layer disc's because it said a standard disc didn't have enough space, still didn't work even after switching out disc's. Bought a new computer and they said I had activated the product too many times. Contacted the company only to be ignored. Will NEVER buy another 123 product again. Never could get some options to work either, such as cell phone ring tones and screen shots to use as wallpaper. Definitely NOT worth buying.

    Summary

Look at something else as this one's not worth buying. Too expensive for what it does and that's very little.

"Save your money on this one."

    May 10, 2012   |   By MeekOOB

Version: 123 Copy DVD Platinum 2.0.2

    Pros

They refunded my money when asked is about the best pro I can list.

    Cons

It's not as advertised. You have to download a 3rd party app to make it work. The Support staff are like drones with their canned responses. Very disappointed.

    Summary

The Blu ray works on some stuff, the support is below marginal, the avg dvd it does work on. However the transfer and convert process for mobile products is sub par.

    "DOESN'T WORK"

    December 22, 2011   |   By yi_thea1

Version: 123 Copy DVD Platinum 2.0.2

    Pros

all the software carrying stores carry it- but don't waste your money

    Cons

it doesn't work. I want a ripper that can copy any DVD, as it claims it can-- unfortunately, out of the 3 I have tried so far, only 1 worked. that is only a 33% success rate, the others say it can't get pass the encoders within the DVD software.

    Summary

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. I have WinX on my old computer - I'm going to be going back and getting it installed on my new one, because I know it DOES work. I am very sorry I wasted money on this very expensive cardbord box of software.

    Updated on Dec 22, 2011

plus, it doesn't allow you to change the output format. This is important if you are trying to create digital backups - it only maintains original export, no flexibility or true conversion (isn't that supposed to be the point of the software???)

"HORRIBLE products, also owns PodMaxx & 123copydvd."

    December 10, 2010   |   By Modan009

    Version: 123 Media Max 2.0.2

    Pros

    NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Cons

Their products absolutely do not work! PODMAXX 2008 was the ONLY one that worked ok. Outside of that, don't bother....

    Summary

The first product I used PodMaxx 08', pretty good product. Outside of that, 2009, mediamax, copydvd products... absolutely HORRIBLE. If there were negative points given to one of the worst products, this would be it. They also have PodMaxx, 123copydvd products and ALL are complete flops. A big FAT -100000!!! Their support is just as horrible. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And DOES NOT WORK.....
