"Not Enough Function to use for anything"

    July 2, 2005  |   By brookelea

    Version: 11view 3.0

    Cons

Tried to use batch converter and it did nothing, there is no resizing option other than the converter. It acted like it did something, but nothing about the image changed at all. Other than that I saw no options to make it worth even wasting the time to download it

"The best image viewer I've tried."

    June 13, 2005  |   By msundman

    Version: 11view 3.0

    Pros

Lossless JPEG transformations. --- Color management. --- Good EXIF handling. (E.g. can copy EXIF info when batch-converting.) --- Lanczos resampling. --- Nice batch-converter. --- Nice layout (when the "Enhanced windows layout" turned on in the options). --- Good printing options. --- Useful magnifier function. --- Support for 4dos type image description files. --- I have tried over 30 image viewers, and this is by far the best one I've seen so far.

    Cons

If you have many network folders it takes quite a long time to switch from fullscreen-mode to window-mode. --- In the Start menu it puts itself inside "Stratopoint Software/11view/" instead of just "11view/". This makes it a bit hard to find. --- No way to rename several files at once. --- No command line options. --- Some minor problems with some non-US keyboard layouts. --- Doesn't support the GIMP image format.
