"Great product, great support"
Version: 1-Click Duplicate Delete for Outlook 3.12
Pros
Makes eliminating duplicates so easy. No guess work, and lots of options if you want to use the advanced features, which I have never needed, because the software is so easy to use. Support is very fast and very professional.
Cons
None that I can think of
Summary
I've been using different versions of this product since 2008, and it has been a great product, and the support is superb. It sure makes finding duplicates that get created during sync errors a lot easier than searching for them one by one, and deleting them one by one. My Palm based smartphone used to create duplicates all the time, and this software has been a lifesaver!

"Works as Advertised with Great Customer Service!"
Version: 1-Click Duplicate Delete for Outlook 3.08
Pros
This program does in fact delete most of the duplicates I have encountered.
On those occasions that it has not, the owner of the company worked very hard over a period of days to make adjustments to my version that would work nearly every time.Cons
There are always going to be some duplicate emails that for one reason or another aren't able to be eliminated by this program. I attribute that not to any problems with the program, but rather to the "nature of the beast", as it were.
Summary
This user has found that 1-Click works almost always. It is important to remember that you have to be in the folder that the email is delivered to (I found this out by trial and error). In other words, if you have dupes showing up in "Unread Mail", 1-Click does not work then. You must go to the actual folder that the email is in for 1-Click to work. I don't remember being told about this, so they should make sure the user understands that.
Meanwhile, as I have stated, it has been working almost always. It is fun to watch the little "goldfish" appear in the fishbowl, too! Those are the dupes.
As I also said, when I have had problems, Thomas, the owner reponds quickly and really devotes a lot of time and effort to solving the problem to the best of his ability. It really is customer service to be emulated! -
"1-Click is one of the most useful Outlook tools."
Version: 1-Click Duplicate Delete for Outlook 3.06
Pros
It is simple and clean. You simply launch 1-Click from within Outlook for any folder, and all the duplicates are identified and removed. This works for the Inbox, Calendar, Sent Items and Contacts.
Cons
I'm hard-pressed to find anything negative.
Summary
I'm an IT Professional. In the course of repairing computers, I often have to re-install Outlook and re-import all mail items; this invariably invites mail duplicates in all folders; this product, 1-Click Duplicate Delete, now at version 3.08, makes child's play of removing duplicated items. The tech support has proven to be wonderful. I'm delighted with this product.

"A tool which MS forgot"
Version: 1-Click Duplicate Delete for Outlook 3.06
Pros
Finds your dups in Outlook fast and easy. One button handling (deeper inspect customizable), fast and reliable.
Excellent service if there is a question or problem. I do appreciate it.Cons
none found so far (I just have tried dup finder in contacts)
Summary
Did you ever feel annoyed after having synchronized your Outlook data with other systems - PDA, netbook, smart phone, cloud services, and then you've found lots of duplicate data in Outlook?
forgot to mention: Windows 7/64 prof. with Outlook 2007.
Microsoft does'nt offer anything to clean up such a mess, and doing it manually is quite boring.
This had been my experience, so I downloaded the trial version. Unfortunately this trial version de-dups just 20 contacts in a rush. Because I've had more than 4000 dups from some failed synchs I bought it, and I do not regret this.
Opposite to CNet's comment there is a help file present. The other results of CNet's test are the same to my experience.
It's fast and safe, as all dups found are moved to the trash (adjustable), and all differences between them are marked and hold in the contact left.
You may customize the fields which are taken for dup check, but the default works very well.
Give it a try!

In the meantime I tried the search with calendar, and this part worked as expected.

"DOES WHAT IT CLAIMS. NO CONFLICTS. NO HASSLES."
Version: 1-Click Duplicate Delete for Outlook 2.00
Pros
Easy to install. Easy to use. Doesn't seem to make mistakes. Price is reasonable value to get rid of all those dupes.
Cons
Would like the ability to merge records. For example if one record has only an email address and another a telephone number I'd like to be able to see both records side by side and say, merge.
Summary
Just want to thank you for writing this program. I was hesitant to use anything with my BlackBerry and Outlook as I couldn't find rave reviews of any program anywhere, anywhere. I took a chance with your product and I'm delighted it does just what they say it should and what I wanted. Have no complaints. I had previously lost all my data and tried to recover by pulling in backups from various previous devices and databases. 1 click resolved all duplicate issues. It saved my ass.

"Finds duplicates- but crashes before they're deleted"
Version: 1-Click Duplicate Delete for Outlook 2.00
Pros
This program seems to be very good and thorough with regards to finding and comparing the hundreds (or in my case, thousands) of emails that might potentially be duplicated in Outlook. It's a little slow, but the thoroughness is appreciated.
Cons
The program is pretty much useless- at least the trial version is. It invariably crashes windows as soon as I try to actually delete them. This has happened five or six times, so I've pretty much given up.
Summary
Finding duplicates is one thing, but there's no point if you can't actually get rid of them.

"Product appears to work well, but download is a DEMO"
Version: 1-Click Duplicate Delete for Outlook 1.04
Pros
Works fast and found most if not all of the duplicates
Cons
Only deleted the first 10 duplicates then popped a screen asking what I felt a fair price was and offered to sell me the software. Description said that it had no limitations, this is NOT true.

"Excellent Program"
Version: 1-Click Duplicate Delete for Outlook 1.04
Pros
Fully customizable or runs on default. Choose which folders to search. Choose to find duplicates in different folders. Put duplicates into a folder of your choice. After duplicates are found, you have the opportunity to inspect all duplicate sets and choose which ones to delete or keep. I have been using this program since January 2007, and this program is as good as it gets. I have seen no bugs, and there is no spy ware or malware. This program doesn't do anything wrong at all.
Cons
The installation is unique in that you are asked what you think the program is worth, and then you pay the price you choose. So you don't even have to pay the $19.95. At least I didn't have to in January 2007. I put in a somewhat lower price when I was asked during the install what I think the program is worth, and that is what I paid. I don't see the harm in that. That's a good thing, right?.

"Should be classified as Malware"
Version: 1-Click Duplicate Delete for Outlook 1.04
Pros
NOTHING. NADA. ZERO. ZIP
Cons
When you first run it, a box pops up asking you how much you think its worth. No matter what the amount you put in, the box won't go away, forcing you to close outlook. Eventually you might guess 19.95, the official price, and then it will go away. After that, you will find that the program only removes a handful of dupes, and after a total of 60 stops working and simply nags. None of this is disclosed by the publisher in the description. Download.com should ban this product for this failure to disclose how maddeningly crippled it is. NO STARS, not even a half, BUT THIS WEB SITE INSISTED I GIVE IT AT LEAST ONE STAR. It doesn't deserve it.
